Connections link Paddl to the systems your property already runs, so your people, training and reviews sit in one place without double entry.
What a connection does
Brings data in. Paddl fetches what it needs from the other system, such as team member profiles, training content or guest reviews.
Sends results back. Where it makes sense, Paddl acts in the other system too. For example, a team member's completed training can be sent to your HRIS and kept on their record there.
Types of connection
Each connection has a label that says what it brings to Paddl.
Training: training content from your providers and platforms, used in Activities. See Activity content blocks.
Workforce: team member records from your HRIS, kept in sync with People.
Reviews: guest reviews, shown beside each team's training and readiness.
Each connection has its own setup guide in this collection.
Who manages connections
Any Admin on your Business Account can add and manage connections. Most connections ask you to sign in with your own account on the other system, and the connection then uses that account's access. If the person who set up a connection moves on, another Admin can reauthorise it with their own account. See Manage your connections.
Pro tip: Connect with a group account, such as [email protected], rather than a personal one. The connection keeps running when people change roles, as long as the other system allows group accounts.
If a connection stops
Paddl keeps everything it has already synced. Only new updates pause until the connection is working again, so your pages don't go empty.
