Inviting your team is your go-live: it's when team members first see Paddl. Add your team first, then send their invitations once your Activities, Programs and homepage are ready.
Before you start
Programs assigned to your Groups, so team members see their training straight away. See Create a Program.
Your Members App customised, so it looks like your property. See Customise your Experience.
Add your team
There are three ways to get team members into Paddl. The first two add them as Unsent, so nothing goes out until you're ready.
From your HRIS. If you've connected one, your team members are already in People. They stay Unsent as long as the connection holds new invitations. Your HRIS's setup guide, in the Connections collection, explains how.
By bulk upload. Open the arrow on the right of Add a Member, at the top right of the People page, and select Bulk Upload Members. Download the CSV template from Need some help?, fill in one row per team member, then upload it and select Upload.
One at a time. Select Add a Member, fill in their Full Name, Contact (email address or mobile number) and Day 1, plus their Title and Groups if you have them, then select Send Invite.
Important: Adding one person with Add a Member sends their invitation straight away. Before go-live, use your HRIS or a bulk upload instead, and include each person's Groups in your CSV. If a Group doesn't exist yet, Paddl offers to create it.
Send invitations
Open People. It's in the sidebar.
Select the team members to invite. Tick each one in the list. Their Account Status shows Unsent.
Select Resend Invite. It's in the bar that appears at the bottom of the page once you've selected people.
Track invitations
The Account Status column in People shows where each member is:
Unsent: they're in Paddl but haven't been invited yet.
Invited: their invitation has been sent.
Active: they've accepted and set their password.
What team members see
Team members get an invitation from Paddl. They select Accept Invite, see your property's name and the details they'll sign in with, then set their password.
Good to know
The selection bar does more. With team members selected, you can also add them to a Group or archive them.
