Shortlisting in Paddl is a quick, easy way to sort through your applicants before you move to the next phase of your hiring process.
You have 60 days to review and shortlist in Paddl. This consists of a 30 day campaign period when your job campaign is promoted and visible to potential candidates. You'll receive applications during this period.
When the campaign period ends, you'll enter into a 30-day review period. During this time, the job campaign will no longer be visible to potential candidates. However, you can continue reviewing and shortlisting those who have already applied during the 30-day period.
- To begin shortlisting, click on the Applications view in the sidebar, and select the campaign for which you wish to view applicants.
2. Once you've opened the campaign, you'll be presented with a list of applicants.
Click on an applicant to view their application, including a cover note, their course and institution and their scorecard for your campaign's Challenge Questions.
3. To Shortlist a candidate, or mark them Not Suitable, use the buttons at the bottom of the screen. This will send a notification to the applicant, relaying the status of their application.
Shortlisting a candidate allows you to view their contact details - you can then contact the applicant directly to organise the next steps of your hiring process.
Tip: To learn more about a potential hire, click on the applicant's name or profile photo to view their Paddl Profile.
